Apprenticeships

We’re big fans of apprenticeships. They’re a great way to begin a career and they’ve provided us with some truly excellent people over the years.

We offer advanced apprenticeships in electrical, control & instrumentation and mechanical engineering. It is a challenging four year programme for school leavers and those considering higher education. During your training, you will undertake training to achieve a NVQ in Performing Engineering Operations Level 2; 5 Key Skills college studies to obtain a BTEC National Certificate and, if appropriate, a Higher National Certificate, training to provide underpinning skills and knowledge to enable completion of assessments leading to an NVQ Level 3. Most importantly, you will earn whilst you learn.

All you need to apply is a minimum of five GCSEs at A-C level, including Maths, English Language and a Science or Technology subject.

More information about our apprenticeships can also be found on the Careersbox website.

We have now closed the window for applications for the 2008 Apprenticeship Scheme. We will be recruiting again for the Scheme in early 2009.
